Brand Monitor
A template agent that finds brand mentions on the web and in channels you connect, and stages the ones worth answering.
Finds every mention of your brand and sorts what needs a reply. The Brand Monitor template agent searches the public web and the channels you connect for your brand and products, sorts what it finds, and drafts a reply where one is due.
Steps
- Start it. Open Agents, choose Templates, and select Use it on Brand Monitor.
- Answer the interview. Your brand and product names and their misspellings, which sources count (web, news, your Slack channels, the support mailbox), what deserves a reply, who replies, and the tone. It writes the rules into its instructions.
- See one sweep. Ask: "Find mentions from the last week." It lists each mention with its source and a sort: needs a reply, worth knowing, noise. For the ones that need a reply it drafts one in the tone you set.
- Keep the log. Ask it to keep mentions in a Database table with source, sentiment, status, and owner, so the table viewer shows what is open.
- Accept the job. After a sweep you trust, it proposes a daily run with its list to a Space or your Slack DM. It starts off; turn it on from its About tab.
What waits for your approval
Every reply, whether an email, a Slack message, or anything posted outside Meridian, stops at an approval card with the full text. Posting its list to a channel and writing to a shared Database ask too. Searching, reading, sorting, and drafting happen on their own.
Limits
- It reads the public web, news, and the channels connected to Meridian: Slack rooms the app is in and mailboxes you can see. Social networks that need a login, review sites behind a wall, and app stores are not sources yet.
- It cannot post to social networks. Replies it drafts go out through email or Slack, or you paste them where they belong.
- Sentiment is its reading, shown beside the quote so you can disagree.
- A mention it already reported is not reported again unless something new is said.
Make it yours or share it
Notes on its About tab: "I reply to anything from a customer; marketing handles press". Share it from Settings → Access with support and marketing; it runs for each member who turns it on. Put it in a Space so the log and the replies stay together. Duplicate for a second brand.
